Rector Aksoy met with TRNC Republican Assembly Speaker Töre

Selçuk University Rector Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy met with Zorlu Töre, Speaker of the Assembly of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.

Stating that the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus is the state of the entire Turkish nation, Töre noted that they appreciated the work of the University within the framework of the Islamic geography.

Stating that the fortieth anniversary of the TRNC will be celebrated in the coming days in this period when the centennial of the Motherland Turkey is being celebrated, Töre said that the TRNC will continue on its way forever.

Stating that they will strive for the next century to be the Turkish century, Töre emphasized that Turkey being strong means that the Turkish Cypriots will always be strong.
