Selçuk University Vocational School of Health Services donated toys and educational materials to kindergarten students

Selçuk University Vocational School of Health Services, Department of Child Care and Youth Services implemented the project "Donation of Toys and Educational Materials for Children between the ages of 0-6" within the scope of social responsibility and volunteering activities.

Prof. Dr. Fulya Öztaş, Head of the Department of Child Care and Youth Services, said that they came together with the students of Karatay Municipality Erenler Kindergarten, Karatay Yusuf İzzettin Primary School Kindergarten, Karatay Aliye Hüseyin Tekbaş Primary School Kindergarten, Meram Şeyh Şamil Primary School Kindergarten within the framework of the "Toy and Educational Material Donation for Children between the ages of 0 - 6" project. Öztaş stated that they implemented the project in order to develop the collaborative work culture of the students of the Department, to encourage them to produce social responsibility projects and to take part in at least one social responsibility project throughout their education life, and added that they strive to raise individuals who benefit Turkey and the world, produce value for the development of humanity, and strive to improve the present and future.

Öztaş thanked those who contributed to and supported the project and said, "The fact that a student takes part in social responsibility projects in today's world shows that they keep up with the developing concepts in the world. It is written as a plus in the households of students who produce social responsibility projects. Another aspect of the broad perspective gained through social responsibility is creativity and communication skills. Young people who interact with different people also have the opportunity to observe how they should behave in different environments. Again, developing sensitivity to the problems of society, as well as helping and being a part of useful work is also a satisfying feeling. Young people who develop this sensitivity can have a more peaceful inner world."
