'The Republic and 100 Years of Accumulation' conference at Selçuk University

Selçuk University Silifke-Taşucu Vocational School (Vocational School) organized a conference on "The Republic and 100 Years of Accumulation" within the scope of the 100th Anniversary of the Republic.

Vocational School Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tolga Gök, Vice Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özkan Demir, lecturers, administrative staff and students attended the conference.

Vocational School Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tolga Gök stated that they came together on the 100th anniversary of the victory of the National Struggle, the rebirth of the sun of independence over Turkey and the proclamation of the Republic, and said that the homeland lands were entrusted to the Turkish nation with the lives of martyrs and the blood of heroic veterans.

Later in the event, a video on the theme of "The Road to the Establishment of our Republic" was shown.

Then, Selçuk University Faculty Member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özkan Demir's conference titled "Republic and 100 Years of Accumulation" continued.

Describing the struggles during the War of Independence, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Demir stated that the Republic was proclaimed through a difficult process, and that it was a victory won by the Turkish nation at the end of a struggle for their lives, without saying children - old, women - men. Sharing with the participants the achievements of the Republic and the social, cultural, political and economic developments that were the cornerstones in the hundred-year process, Prof. Dr. Demir added that the Turkish nation can never tolerate betrayals and that those who try to divide Turkey will not be given the opportunity.
