1867 saplings were planted at Selçuk University

1867 saplings were planted by Selçuk University Bozkır Vocational School, Ilgın Vocational School, Yunak Vocational School and the academic units of the University in Akşehir, on the occasion of the National Afforestation Day events within the scope of the 100th anniversary of the Republic.

At the sapling planting ceremony held in Bozkır, Selçuk University Bozkır Vocational School students and faculty members planted saplings on behalf of their departments.

Vocational School Director Lecturer. See. Emin Emre Öztürk expressed the importance of afforestation. Stating that they are acting with the aim of leaving a greener country to future generations, Öztürk said, “The saplings we brought together with our country's soil will be a breath of fresh air for all living things on this land in the future. As part of the National Afforestation Day, we planted 100 saplings on behalf of our School. “I would like to thank our students and teachers who participated in our event, which we organized to protect our future and leave a greener world to our children.” said.

YUNAK VOCATIONAL SCHOOL

In the event organized by Yunak Vocational School within the scope of National Afforestation Day with the slogan "Forest for Yunak, Breath for the Future", 400 saplings were brought together with the Vocational School Application Land.

Yunak District Governor Özgür Pelvan, District Mayor Ali Konak, Yunak Vocational School Director Dr. attended the event. Lecturer Member Kadir Öztaş, protocol members, relatives of martyrs, students and many citizens attended.

ILGIN VOCATIONAL SCHOOL AND SELÇUK UNIVERSITY AKŞEHİR UNITS

1000 saplings were planted in the soil by Ilgın Vocational School at the "We Bring 1000 Saplings to the Soil So that Our Republic Lives a Thousand Lives" event within the framework of 100 Events on the 100th Anniversary of the Republic.

367 cedar and pine saplings were planted at the ceremony held at Selçuk University Akşehir Campus with the participation of faculty members and students of the faculty, college and vocational school of Selçuk University in Akşehir.

Akşehir District Governor Dr. attended the event, which was held in the area determined by Akşehir Forest Management Directorate within the scope of National Afforestation Day.
