The education quality of Selçuk University Faculty of Science has been documented

Program accreditation evaluations of Selçuk University Faculty of Science Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Physics, Statistics, Chemistry and Mathematics departments have been completed. FEDEK Evaluation Team Head Prof. Dr. Gökay Kaynak presented the Evaluation Document to Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. He presented it to Semahat Küçükkolbaşı.

FEDEK Evaluation Meeting held at Selçuk University Senate Hall; Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Tuğrul Polat, Dean of the Faculty of Science Prof. Dr. Semahat Küçükkolbaşı, Vice Deans Prof. Dr. İsmail Kınacı and Assoc. Dr. Yunus Akdoğan, FEDEK Evaluation Team Head Prof. Dr. Gökay Kaynak, Team Co-Chair Prof. Dr. Emrah Akyar, FEDEK team members, department heads and academic staff of the Faculty of Science attended.

Vice Rector Prof. stated that they attach great importance to quality and accreditation. Dr. Ahmet Tuğrul Polat expressed his satisfaction with the investigations and the meeting and thanked the FEDEK delegation.

Expressing his satisfaction to be in Konya and Selçuk University, FEDEK Team Co-Chair Prof. Dr. Emrah Akyar also evaluated the departments for which accreditation applications were made in the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Science.

At the meeting, attention was drawn to issues such as the strong academic staff of the Faculty of Science, its success in TUBITAK 2209 projects, its digital infrastructure, exchange programs, the diversity of student clubs, and the social, cultural and scientific activities carried out.

At the end of the meeting, where the re-accreditation application of the Biology, Physics, Statistics, Chemistry and Mathematics departments of the Faculty of Science and the first accreditation application of the Biochemistry and Biotechnology departments were evaluated, FEDEK Evaluation Team Head Prof. Dr. Gökay Kaynak, Dean of the Faculty of Science, Prof. Dr. He presented the evaluation documents to Semahat Küçükkolbaşı.
