Mevlana Student Panel was held at Selçuk University

By Selçuk University Mevlana Research Institute, Mevlana Student Panel was held within the scope of the International Commemoration Ceremonies of Mevlana's 750th Anniversary.

Mevlana Research Institute Director Dr.Sami Bayrakçı made the opening speech of the panel held at the Conference Hall of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences. Lecturer Member Sami Bayrakcı,said  in order to understand Hz.Mevlana and bring his philosophy, understanding of religion and Sufism to the younger generations, Meram Anatolian High School, Meram Science High School, Türk Telekom Social Sciences High School, Mahmut Sami Ramazanoğlu Anatolian Imam Hatip High School and Ömer Dinçer Girls' Imam Hatip High School organized "Mevlana in High Schools". He said that they will perform 5 different programs called "Conversations".

Selçuk University Faculty of Islamic Sciences Dean Prof. Dr. Ramazan Altıntaş said, “We have great thinkers, scholars and contemplatives in the establishment of our strong civilization. The young panelists here today are one of these personalities, Hz. Muhammad, whose anniversary we commemorate with God. "They will discuss and explain Mevlana from different perspectives." said.

Emphasizing that it is very important to understand Hz.Mevlana correctly, Selçuk University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Emrullah Eken said, There are traces of Hz.Mevlana. His thoughts and the values ​​he added to humanity shed light on us. He called humanity to unity. Pir's focus is on people. Hz. Pir's source was the Holy Quran and the sunnahs of our Prophet. “Mevlana was not only a scholar, but also a mystic and a thinker.” he said.

In the panel moderated by Mevlana Research Institute Graduate Student Mehmet Ali Taşkıran, Konya Türk Telekom Social Sciences High School student Rana Azra Fişne said, "The Life of Mevlana", Konya Türk Telekom Social Sciences High School student Elif İkbal, "The Life of the Western World Comes to the Prophet Muhammad". His Perspective on Mevlana and the Reasons for His Interest in the West”, Selçuklu Mahmut Sami Ramazanoğlu Anatolian Imam Hatip High School student Sabit Talha Şahin, “Hz.
