'Hz. Mevlana' was told to high school students

Selçuk University Mevlana Research Institute organised "Mevlana Talks" within the scope of Hz. Mevlana's 750th Vuslat Anniversary Events.

Within the framework of the talks, Prof. Dr. Yusuf Acar, Faculty of Islamic Sciences Lecturer; Meram Science High School, Dr. Lecturer Furkan Çakır; Mahmut Sami Ramazanoğlu Anatolian Imam Hatip High School. Prof. Dr. Furkan Çakır gave a conference at Mahmut Sami Ramazanoğlu Anatolian Imam Hatip High School.

Selçuk University Mevlana Research Institute Director Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Dr. Sami Bayrakcı; Meram Anatolian High School, Faculty of Islamic Sciences Vice Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatma Şeyma Boydak came together with students at Türk Telekom Social Sciences High School.

Prof. Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Dr. Yusuf Acar stated that Mevlana was an Islamic scholar and reminded that UNESCO declared Mevlana Year for 2 times with the decision of the United Nations. In this context, Acar stated that Mevlana's love, tolerance, love and humanist structure were brought to the forefront and said that Mevlana had a spiritual approach to the visible face of virtues.

Prof. Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Dr. Furkan Çakır stated that Mevlana has an understanding that embraces everyone as well as being a symbol of peace and unity. Explaining that a Muslim is an individual who produces solutions, not problems, Çakır stated that Mevlana acted solution-oriented in this direction.

Prof. Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Dr. Sami Bayrakcı also explained Mevlana to the students with examples from Masnavi.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatma Şeyma Boydak made explanations on art in Mevlevism, Islamic architecture, Islamic art and aesthetics. Boydak also mentioned the importance of art activities in terms of self-awareness of the individual.
