An exhibition titled "From Soil to Art" was opened at Selçuk University
Selcuk University Cumra Vocational School Lecturer. Member Prof. Dr. A glass crystal bead art exhibition with the theme "From Soil to Art" was opened by Aynur Özbahçe and her husband Mustafa Özbahçe.
The opening of the exhibition titled "From Soil to Art", prepared within the scope of 100 Events on the 100th Anniversary of our Republic, was attended by Selçuk University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Tuğrul Polat, Selçuk University Vocational Schools Coordinator Prof. Dr. Eray Tulukcu, Çumra Vocational School Deputy Director Prof. Dr. Coşkun Sağlam, academicians and students attended.
Cumra Vocational School Lecturer. Member Prof. Dr. Aynur Özbahçe said, “Staying at home during the Covid period directed us to other activities. My wife and I started with small works. The diameter of each bead in the works is approximately 3 mm and they are glued one by one. I thank my wife very much for giving me this excitement. There are over 30 works here. We welcome art lovers to our exhibition.” said.
Çumra Vocational School Deputy Director Prof. Dr. Coşkun Sağlam also said, “I would like to thank the Selçuk University administration for their support in opening the exhibition. “I congratulate those who contributed to the exhibition.” he said.
Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Tuğrul Polat said, “Our academics work day and night for their scientific studies. One of the most important elements that add color to life is art. Dealing with art in this busyness is a relief. I advise our students to take up a hobby and be interested in art. For his efforts, Prof. Dr. I congratulate Aynur Özbahçe and Mustafa Özbahçe.” he said.
The exhibition at Selçuk University Museum can be visited until January 12.
