Stating that he is happy to be at Selçuk University, Producer Ferhat Eşsiz explained the starting point of the Gönül Dağı series as follows: “It was a search for a project that reflects us, where we watch ourselves on the screen that tells us about us in the Central Anatolia Region. Our scriptwriter Ali Hodja produced the design and characters of the Gönül Dağı series. We spent a lot of hard work to bring the project to fruition. The value we aspired to, that is, our customs, traditions and culture, had a very sharp place. Because no matter how you tell it, it is transferred to the future. We were excited to be the bridge to carry our culture forward. "The first story of its origin was that it was actually a project that told us about us in Anatolia."
Stating that the Gönül Dağı TV series underlines TRT's motto of "The Word is Human", Screenwriter Ali Asaf Elmas said: "The main purpose of the series project was to reveal the hidden talents in Anatolia and to support the technology move. We know that television is a very effective tool here. We wanted to reveal hidden talents not only in the field of technology, but also those who sing folk songs or have other skills, and encourage our people. The steppe is at the core of the project, and we think that the steppe has many talents at its core. Why shouldn't there be more talented people here? This was one of the initial feelings of the project. Of course, the project is a multi-layered work in itself, we revealed our own drama especially about these lands. We had a deficiency in this sense, and we tried to correct it. We made our own story. We believe that we have achieved this in the Gönül Dağı series. We are at the first step of the work, but we are not the only ones. At the core of the business are the actors, music and producers. “It is a collective work, we are a whole and we are happy.” he said. Ulviye Karaca, who played the character of Teacher Gülsüm in the series, addressed the students and said, “You are benefiting from the achievements of the Republic. A very beautiful University and campus. You are all equipped with valuable educators here. You will become a professional and you will pass on what you have learned. Teacher and teaching are both very valuable concepts. Learning has no end with its teacher, I wish you all success on your path to lifelong learning.” said.Actress Feyza Işık celebrated the 30th anniversary of the Faculty of Communication and wished success to the students. Producer Ferhat Eşsiz, screenwriter Ali Asaf Elmas, actors Hüseyin Sevimli, Feyza Işık, Ulviye Karaca, Ege Aydan and Eser Eyüpoğlu answered the students' questions. At the end of the program, gifts and plaques were presented to the actors of TRT Gönül Dağı TV Series who participated in the conversation as speakers.
