TEKNOFEST Information Seminar was held at Selçuk University

The Aviation, Space and Technology Festival TEKNOFEST Information Seminar was organised by Selçuk University Faculty of Science.

The programme was held at Prof. Dr. Ali Rıza Çetik Seminar Hall, Faculty of Science, and was attended by Dean Prof. Dr. Semahat Küçükkolbaşı, SU Youth Valley Coordinator Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Hakan Terzioğlu, Deputy Coordinator Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Dr. Fatih Alpaslan Kazan, Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Dr. Sema Servi, academicians and students attended.

Participating in the Aviation, Space and Technology Festival TEKNOFEST Information Seminar as a speaker, Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Hakan Terzioğlu said, "Our Youth Valley Coordinatorship was established in 2022. I would like to clearly state that the main purpose of the establishment of our coordinatorship is to support all our students who are trying to represent our University in national or international competitions and to solve their problems. As a matter of fact, after the establishment of our Coordinatorship, we tried to meet our students, how and what they need, by being in elbow contact with every team competing on behalf of our University in 2023. We took our students to the competition, we brought them. We are trying to help whatever needs to be done to make our students' dreams come true. We are planning to actively open some of the working areas we have determined this year in our coordinatorship to the use of our students."

Stating that TEKNOFEST is a festival that not only Turkey but also the world is talking about, Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Dr. Terzioğlu said, "TEKNOFEST is one of the most followed festivals at the moment. Our university has been a stakeholder of this great organisation since 2018. We support all of TEKNOFEST's work. In 2023, we applied to this organisation with 66 teams and took part in the finals with 32 teams. Accordingly, we returned from the competitions with 15 awards.  In other words, 32 of our applicant teams taking part in the final corresponds to 50 per cent success. This is of great importance for us. Because it means that we have established this as a culture within Selçuk University that we should not do it for the sake of doing it."

SU Youth Valley Coordinator Dr. Lecturer. Prof. Hakan Terzioğlu made a presentation about Youth Valley Coordination and TEKNOFEST and answered the questions of the students.
