Little heroes who defeated leukemia embarked on a scientific journey at Selcuk University

Selcuk University hosted children aged 5-12 who completed their leukemia treatments through LÖSEV at the "Little Heroes' Scientific Journey" event. Rector Prof. Dr. Huseyin Yilmaz also attended the program organized by Selcuk University Faculty of Education.

A program was organized for children who overcame leukemia at the "Little Heroes' Scientific Journey" event, arranged in collaboration between LÖSEV and Selcuk University. Selcuk University Rector Prof. Dr. Huseyin Yilmaz also attended the event. Yilmaz met with the children and told them about the University.

Faculty of Education Vice Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sema Aydin Ceran stated that they organized a 3-day training program for 15 children who defeated leukemia as part of their collaboration with LÖSEV. Ceran mentioned that in addition to activities such as fun experiment workshops, interactive readings, gamified mathematics, and theater performances, they also visited the Animal Hospital and Museum on campus, saying, "We wanted to provide both social and academic support with this activity program we organized during the mid-term break for our students who were away from formal education for a certain period. It was very enjoyable for us. Our students and parents also expressed that they had a very enjoyable and productive time. I thank our University and LÖSEV for providing us with such an opportunity."
