Rector Yilmaz visited the Faculty of Dentistry
Selcuk University Rector Prof. Dr. Huseyin Yilmaz visited the Faculty of Dentistry, chatted with patients receiving treatment, and received information from the authorities.
Rector Yilmaz first met with citizens receiving treatment at the hospital and gathered their thoughts about the services provided.
After touring the sterilization unit, research center, operating room, and clinical practice facilities within the faculty, Rector Yilmaz met with Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Gul Tosun. Tosun provided information about implemented projects, academic studies, treatment processes at the hospital, and technological infrastructure.
Prof. Dr. Yilmaz stated that Selcuk University Faculty of Dentistry serves citizens not only from Konya but also from surrounding provinces and abroad, saying "Our faculty fills an important gap in oral and dental health with its advanced technology devices and experienced academic staff."
With the latest technology intraoral scanner, 3D production system, and 12 new units added to the Faculty of Dentistry, higher quality healthcare services are being provided to patients. These investments increase both patient comfort and practical training opportunities for students.
Selcuk University Faculty of Dentistry has been fully accredited by the Dental Education Programs Accreditation Association (DEPAD) by meeting all national standards for undergraduate dental education programs.
