He was born in Taşkınpaşa village of Ürgüp district of Nevşehir in 1958. He completed his primary education in Taşkınpaşa village and his secondary and high school education in Ürgüp district. After graduating from Selcuk University Education Institute Turkish Teaching Department in 1979, he completed his undergraduate degree in Anadolu University Turkish Language and Literature Department.
He started working at the Nevşehir Social Security Institution on April 21, 1980. Between 1984 and 1998, he worked as a School Principal in Sivas, Afyonkarahisar, Nevşehir and Konya Kadınhanı Health Vocational High Schools respectively. He started to work as a Faculty Secretary at Selcuk University Vocational Education Faculty on September 11, 1998. Between 2005 and 2006, he served as the Secretary of the Institute of Turkic Studies at Selcuk University and Institute of Social Sciences at Selcuk University. Between 2006 and 2015, he continued to work as Faculty Secretary at Selcuk University Vocational Education Faculty. After the decision of the Council of Higher Education to close the Vocational Education Faculties, he started to work as a Faculty Secretary at the Faculty of Art and Design at Selcuk University on June 11, 2015. As of January 10, 2018, he was originally appointed to the Selcuk University Student Affairs Office, which he has been serving as attorney since March 20, 2017.
