CANDIDATE STUDENT GUIDE INFORMATION

- Program content:

Landscape Architecture Undergraduate Program consists of 36 theoretical and 24 applied compulsory courses. Elective courses vary according to the semesters. While the theoretical courses provide the students with the necessary theoretical knowledge in the field of landscape architecture, the applied courses include practical training for the development of the students on how to implement the landscape design in the field. There are 11 academic staff in the department, including 3 professors, 2 associate professors and 2 doctoral faculty members who are experts in their fields, as well as 3 research assistants and 1 lecturer.

-Learning Model:

Selcuk University, Faculty of Architecture and Design, Department of Landscape Architecture provides undergraduate education and the language of the program is Turkish. In line with the needs of the landscape sector, the department provides students with knowledge and skills in the fields of design, planning and application in the light of artistic and technological knowledge. In this direction, it is a section that includes practical courses as well as theoretical courses.

Graduates of the department will be able to find employment opportunities in the design, production, R&D and application departments in the landscape sector.

-Staj:

1. At the end of the semester, students have to do internships in companies related to Landscape Architecture.

- How Applied Training is Conducted:

Applied courses are carried out by the lecturer of the course at the Faculty of Architecture and Design, to which the department is affiliated, in the workshops of the department and in the Afforestation Branch Directorate of the university.

Tuition Fee:

Since there is no 2nd education in the department, no fee is paid.

Campus conditions:

Landscape Architecture Department conducts its theoretical and applied courses in the Faculty of Architecture and Design building. Faculty building is located in Selcuk University Alaeddin Keykubat Campus. There are facilities on the campus that will meet all the needs of students, especially KYK dormitories and social facilities.

Campus; There are bus, tram and minibus lines between Konya center, bus station and station.

Dormitory Facilities:

There are four different dormitories within the campus. There are many private dormitory facilities outside the campus, especially KYK.
