Personnel wishing to benefit from the "Teaching Mobility" must obtain an official INVITATION/ACCEPTANCE LETTER from a higher education institution in Europe that has an Erasmus University Charter, inviting them to teach at this institution.

This also applies to those who will benefit from the "staff training". The bilateral agreement condition is partially valid for the personnel who will benefit from the "Mobility to Get Training":

  1. If a higher education institution with ECHE is to be applied for to receive education, there must be a valid "BILATERAL AGREEMENT" between this institution and the department of the applicant personnel.
  2. However, if the application is to be made not to a university but to a private institution, firm, foundation, institute, business, company or similar institution, it is sufficient to obtain an acceptance/invitation certificate without the condition of an agreement.
  3. DURATION AND TIME OF PROGRAMS:

The duration of the activity to be carried out abroad in the "Teaching" and "Training" Mobility has been determined by the Selection and Evaluation Commission as a minimum of 2 days and a maximum of 5 days, excluding the travel period, so that more of our personnel can benefit from the program.

The Teaching Mobility activity duration must be at least 8 hours per week (or for a shorter stay period).

TRAVEL AND DAILY GRANTS

The grant given to the personnel benefiting from the personnel mobility is a contribution, and the grant is not intended to cover all the expenses related to the period spent abroad.

Calculation of the grant amount, grant calculation rules determined by the National Agency.

Within the scope of this grant, the amount of "daily allowance" that varies according to the country of destination and the "travel expense" payment is made by calculating the distance-kilometer.

Daily Calculations

Activity periods and grants of the personnel are calculated as an estimate before the activity starts. The exact deadlines and grants realized after the end of the activity should be recalculated.

The duration of the activity of the personnel is partially or completely donated, or the activity can be carried out completely without a grant, that is, with "zero grant". In case the activity period is partially donated, the period for which the grant will be granted cannot be shorter than 2 days for personnel mobility.

The daily amount to be given to the personnel who will benefit from the personnel mobility is calculated by considering the amounts stated in the table below, according to the country of destination and the period of travel. The amounts shown in the table are in Euros.

* Used only for staff invited to teach from a business abroad.

No grant payment will be made for days that do not include any activity or that cannot be documented in accordance with the type of activity carried out.

Travel Expense Calculations

The amount of travel expenses to be paid to the personnel benefiting from the personnel mobility activity should be calculated using the "Distance Calculator". The distance calculator is available at the link below:

http://ec.europa.eu/programmes/erasmus-plus/tools/distance_en.htm

Through the distance calculator, the km value between two points from the place where the personnel is settled to the place of activity should be determined and the travel grant should be calculated using the table below. The number of kilometers in the distance calculator is the round-trip figure in return for the grant in the table below, and the amount in question is not multiplied by two. The transfer of the personnel does not affect the distance reached by the distance calculation mentioned above.

It is assumed that the starting point of the trip is the sending organization and the place where the activity is carried out is the host organization. If the travel starting point is in a city different from the city where the sending institution is located, or if the activity takes place in a city other than the city where the host institution is located, if the change causes the travel to enter a different distance band, travel invoices are requested, and grants are given according to the actual distance band. If a different starting point or place of activity is reported, the reason for this difference is stated in the report, documents showing the travel start and end points and invoices are kept in the personnel file to be presented in possible audits.
