Career Day Event

Akşehir Faculty of Engineering and Architecture held a Career Day event on December 5, 2022. Important names from the industry were invited for presentations for Food Engineering and Mechanical Engineering students at the event held at Akşehir Şehit Ömer Halisdemir Cultural Center. Among the invitees were Betül FİLİZ, Food Engineer at Aksantaş enterprise operating in Akşehir, and Yalçın PASLI and Akif TOSUN from Tezmaksan Makina Industry and Trade enterprise. In the event, which was followed with interest by the undergraduate students of our faculty, Betül FİLİZ made a presentation titled "Being a Food Engineer Today" and Yalçın PASLI made a presentation entitled "Lives Shaped by Turning". All students were provided with information about the characteristics that engineer candidates should have for today's conditions, different perspectives and important points to be considered in the process of gaining experience during their career development. Students contributed to the development of the program in terms of information sharing by presenting the questions they were curious about after the presentations. At the end of the program, all participants had the opportunity to taste different flavors at the promotion stand of Aksantaş Products. At the end of the program, a certificate of appreciation was presented to the guests who made their presentations by our Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Süleyman NEŞELİ.
