Akşehir Vocational School was established in 1989 and started education by taking its first students to the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management in the fall of 1990.
Akşehir Vocational School, which continued its education in the municipality building, office building and KYK dormitory building, was moved to the Vocational School building of 5000 m2 in 2000.
Over time, its physical facilities have improved and it has become what it is today. Tağrık Buğra Library, which currently has 9000 printed works in the Vocational School building and takes its name from Tarık Buğra, the pride of Akşehir, 1 canteen, 1 Conference Hall, 1 outdoor volleyball and basketball court, 1 carpet, 14 classrooms, 2 lecture halls, 2 computer laboratories. There is 1 tourism practice room and 1 tourism practice kitchen and restaurant.
Akşehir Vocational School continues its education with a total of 891 students in 5 active departments and 7 active programs and adds value by sending qualified intermediate staff to every corner of the country as it has been for 32 years.
