About

Our School was established at the Higher Education meeting held on 09.02.1989, with the separation of the Health Programs within the Konya Vocational School and started education in the 1989-1990 academic year. Our School, which initially had Nursing and Medical Laboratory Programs, continued its development with the opening of Midwifery Programs in 1992 and Radiology Programs in 1998. Our School, which transferred the Nursing and Midwifery programs to this school with the establishment of the School of Health in the 1997-1998 academic year, continued its education with Medical Laboratory (Normal and Secondary Education) and Radiology (Normal and Secondary Education) Programs. With the opening of Anesthesia Technician and Medical Representation and Marketing programs in the 2005-2006 academic year and the transfer of the Child Development program within the Social Sciences Vocational School of our university, the number of programs increased to 5. Within the framework of the ISCED (International Education Standard Classification) Project of our School, according to the new program and department names; affiliated to the Department of Medical Services and Techniques Medical Laboratory Techniques (N.E-S.E), Medical Imaging Techniques (N.E-S.E),  Anesthesia,  Medical Promotion and Marketing (closed with the decision of the General Council of Higher Education on 12.05.2011), First and Emergency Aid programs opened in the 2012-2013 academic year, Operating Room Services, Audiometry and Dialysis programs opened in 2013, Physiotherapy program opened in 2014 with;  affiliated to the Child Development program affiliated with the Department of Child Care and Youth Services (N.E-S.E), the Elderly Care program affiliated to the Health Care Services Department in the 2011-2012 academic year, including the Disabled Care and Rehabilitation program affiliated to the Therapy and Rehabilitation department in 2014 continues education and training with 11 programs affiliated to 4 departments, including the Disabled Care and Rehabilitation program.As of the 2008-2009 Spring Semester, our school has been serving in its new building with 3 floors and 3276 m² of indoor space, in a central location within the campus area. Our School has 10 classrooms, 1 Microbiology Laboratory, 1 Chemistry-Biochemistry Laboratory, 1 Student Application Laboratory, 1 First and Emergency Aid Application Laboratory, 1 Application Ambulance, 1 Operating Room Services application laboratory, 1 Audiometry Laboratory. In addition, the opportunities of other public hospitals and institutions, especially Selcuk University Faculty of Medicine, are also used in theoretical and practical training.
