Erasmus program is a European Union program carried out by the Turkish National Agency to encourage higher education institutions to cooperate with each other. Erasmus program Higher education institutions to produce and implement joint projects with each other; It allows them to exchange students and staff for a semester or a year. The communication of the European Commission with the EÜB-owning universities in Turkey is carried out by T.C. The Prime Ministry State Planning Organization provides the Center for European Union Education and Youth Programs (National Agency). The European Commission also provides financial support to the change by giving grants to students in order to contribute to the individuals who benefit from the exchange. Every university in Turkey that is included in the Erasmus exchange program requests a grant from the National Agency according to the number of all candidate Erasmus students selected for the next academic year. The National Agency evaluates the grant requests from all Turkish universities and transfers them to the European Commission.
