In order to graduate from Selcuk University, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Food Engineering, each student has to do an internship for 40 working days within the framework of the internship rules determined by Selçuk University Agriculture Faculty. Students are entitled to internship starting from the end of the 6th semester. Internship can be carried out in Food Plants/Organizations and/or Food-related Research Laboratories approved by the Department's Internship Coordinator. It is the student's responsibility to find the institution/business where the internship will take place.
The purpose of the Summer Internship is for all Food Engineering Department students to gain practical, technical, and administrative knowledge and experience outside of academic institutions and in a way that will contribute to their education.
